Mission Statement

Through massage I aim to ease your pain with Remedial Massage or with a Swedish/Relaxation Massage the focus is for you to have a calm, relaxing, soothing massage. I undertake to perform massage in a professional manner and to treat you with respect and to the best of my ability.

Health Fund Rebates

Not all services are rebatable under health insurance schemes. Please check with your health fund before your appointment.

Arrival at your appointment

For initial appointment, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time to allow for completing your Client Intake Form and to discuss your treatment.

For following appointments please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled time. This allows you time for a relaxed and unhurried experience and to discuss your muscle issues.

If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment your service may be shortened in order to keep following appointments to time. No full or partial refunds will be given.

Draping Policy

Appropriate full draping is to be utilised during any massage treatment as per the guide lines set out by Massage and Myotherapy Australia.

Client Cancellation and No Show Policy

24 hours notice of any change to your appointment is appreciated. Please be aware that other people may want your appointment time, therefore if you are unable to attend your appointment please notify me as soon as possible. Less than three hours notification of a change to your appointment may result in being charged for the full cost of your appointment.

If you do not show for your appointment and you have not informed me that you will not be attending your appointment full cost of your appointment will be charged.

Refund Policy

Within the first 15 minutes of your massage treatment, it is up to the client to inform me if they do not wish to continue with the treatment. If within 15 minutes of the massage treatment the client is not satisfied with the treatment I shall stop the massage treatment and the client is free to leave with no payment necessary.

If the client does not request the massage to cease within 15 minutes full payment is required.

Medical Conditions and Pregnancy

It is the responsibility of the client to keep me informed of any medical conditions and/or treatment. The client must keep me informed of any changes in health conditions.

The client must inform me if they are pregnant or think they may be pregnant.

Working With Minors

Clients 16 years of age or under need to attend their appointment with a guardian. The guardian is required to co-sign or complete the Client Intake form, depending on the age of the client. The guardian is required to stay with the minor through their appointment.

Hygiene Policy

Linen is washed after each client. Clinic is kept clean and surfaces are wiped regularly with disinfectant wipes. Any tools used on clients, e.g. myofascial cups are cleaned and sanitised after each use.

If client has contagious skin conditions, example warts, gloves will be worn by the therapist  when massaging the affected area.

Privacy Policy

This practice is committed to the privacy of its clients. Personal information is treated as confidential and is used only for the purpose for which it was collected. Information kept on file will not be released to a third party without the express consent of the client or as required by law.
